On June 27th, 2023, Meister announced that MeisterNote will be permanently paired with MeisterTask, giving users two tools for the price of one. Take a look at the following FAQs to learn more about how this change may affect your account.

How has my subscription changed?

Your MeisterTask subscription now gives you free access to MeisterNote. From now on, you'll have permanent access to an additional tool at no extra cost.

We've added a new MeisterNote license (seat) for each MeisterTask plan you currently pay for. For example: if you have four seats for MeisterTask Business, you’ll get four seats for MeisterNote Business to match. 

How will MeisterTask change?

MeisterTask and MeisterNote will remain standalone tools and there will be no immediate changes to their interface or functionality.

In the future, we intend to build deeper and more seamless integrations between MeisterTask and MeisterNote and expand their capabilities for project management and documentation.

When will these changes take effect?

As of June 27th, 2023, your account already has access to MeisterNote.

Can I continue using MeisterTask without MeisterNote?

Yes, of course! Using MeisterNote is completely voluntary and MeisterTask will remain a standalone tool.

Has the MeisterTask-MeisterNote integration changed?

Not yet. In the future, we do intend to build deeper and more seamless integrations between MeisterTask and MeisterNote and expand their capabilities for project management and documentation.

Will MindMeister be affected by this change?

No — MindMeister will remain a standalone tool.
