Working with Project Boards

In MeisterTask, each project has its own project board where all related tasks are collected. By default, each new project you create is private, but you can invite others via email so they can collaborate with you.

  • There is no limit to the number of project members.
  • There is no limit to the number of tasks a project can hold.
  • There is no limit to the number of sections a project can have.

Project Board Setups:

A project board normally consists of multiple sections, which can signify different stages or areas in your project. By default, new projects feature a simple Kanban setup with sections for Open - In Progress - Done.

However, you can easily rename these sections and add additional ones, creating a workflow that's perfect for your team's individual needs. You can find some examples of different setups in our Use Cases section.

Tasks:

Tasks are visualized in the form of tiles (also known as cards), which you can quickly move from one section to another using drag & drop. These task tiles display the task's title, its assignee, tags and due dates. They can also display additional information such as attachment thumbnails, depending on the appearance settings you've chosen.

To view the task dialog and edit its details, simply click on the task tile.
