Please note: The notifications that appear on your dashboard as well as the notification counter (on the app icon) are notifications from your collaborators. For instance, you receive such notifications when somebody assigns a task to you, when somebody mentions you in a comment, or when somebody completes a task you are watching.
Due tasks do not count towards these notifications. Instead, you are informed about due tasks via email, a day in advance. Inside your project boards, due tasks turn orange. They are also shown at the top of your My Tasks list on your dashboard. There, you'll also see a red indicator with the number of due tasks.
On the Web:
To activate or deactivate the various available types of notifications, click on your avatar in the upper right corner of the screen and then select Settings from the dropdown menu.
You'll be presented with the Notifications Settings, where you can check the boxes next to all the kinds of notifications you'd like to receive, such as desktop notifications, email notifications and more.
If you're using MeisterTask on your iOS device, be sure to enable notifications both within the MeisterTask app and in your device's notification settings.
First, open the MeisterTask app and click on your user avatar in the upper left corner of the screen. Scroll down until you see the Settings area, and then flip the switch next to "Notification Count on Icon".
Next, open your device's settings, scroll down to Notifications, and then search for MeisterTask in the list of apps. Click on the entry and then flip the switches next to all the types of notifications you'd like to enable.
