Cancel subscription and delete account (Pro and Business plan)

Who can use this feature?

- This feature is available for users on Pro and Business plan.
- Users with a Basic subscription can find information here on how to delete their account


This guide outlines the steps to cancel your subscription and subsequently delete your account. You can delete your MeisterTask account after canceling your paid subscription.


Cancel your paid subscription

How to downgrade/cancel your paid Pro or Business MeisterTask subscription:

  1. Click on your profile avatar in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click on Plans in the left sidebar.
  3. Click on cancel subscription.

  4. Check the box to agree to all cancellation effects.
  5. Click Continue to Cancel.
  6. Fill out the form and choose an option. You might need to choose a sub-option.
  7. Click Continue to Cancel.
  8. You've successfully cancelled your subscription. You can keep using all the paid features until the end of your subscription.

To delete your account permanently, please follow the steps below. 


Delete your account after your subscription ends

If you are on a paid plan and want to delete your account, you have two options:

  • Option 1:
    Cancel your paid subscription yourself and wait for your subscription to end: You will not be able to delete your account yourself until your subscription has expired. Once your paid subscription has ended, your account will be downgraded to a free Basic plan. After that, you can delete your account yourself.
  • Option 2:
    Cancel your paid subscription yourself and then contact Meister Support: The Meister Support can delete your account immediately.
