Customize your Note's appearance

This feature is available to all users


You can personalize the appearance of your notes by adding note covers and icons. Adjust your personal viewing settings by selecting font styles and toggling between light and dark mode.


Add a Note Cover

You can add a cover image which will appear on your note's header. Choose from the Meister library, upload your own image file or search Unsplash to find a cover that suits your needs.

 

  1. Hover your mouse over your note's header.
  2. Select Add Cover.
  3. Choose a new cover or upload your own image.

Add a Note Icon

Your note's icon will be visible on your note's header and on the left sidebar of your workspace. To add a note icon:

 

  1. Hover your mouse over your note's header.
  2. Select Add Icon.
  3. Choose a note icon and color from the drop-down menu.

Set a New Font Style

Your font style will only affect your own view. All other users will see notes in their own font style.

 

  1. Click your user avatar in the top-right corner of Note.
  2. Select Preferences from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select a new font style from the drop-down menu next to Select Font.

Switch Between Light and Dark Mode

Toggle between light and dark mode to change the background colors of menus and interfaces in Note. This will not affect any other users.

 

  1. Click your user avatar in the top-right corner of Note.
  2. Select Preferences from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select Light Mode, Dark Mode or System Default from the drop-down menu.

Choosing System Default will switch between light and dark modes depending on your operating system's settings.
