The MeisterTask mobile app lets you manage your projects, tasks and notes on your phone or tablet.

On your Home screen you can see the number of tasks that need to be done, check off small to-dos, and open your most-used tasks, projects and notes.

App navigation overview

The navigation bar at the bottom of the screen lets you switch between key sections of the app easily.

• Home: View your quick stats about your tasks, checklist, and recently used items.
• Tasks: View a comprehensive list of tasks that are important to you.
• Notifications: Review recent activity and changes across your projects, tasks and notes.
• Projects: View a list of all projects that you have created or have been shared with you.
• Notes: Here you have access to the notes you have created and the notes shared with you.

The Home tab

The Home tab is your starting point in the MeisterTask mobile app. It offers you a personal overview of the most important functionalities.

How to open the Home tab: Open the app and tap Home in the bottom-left navigation bar.

On the Home page you will find:

• Task overview:
  • This section shows quick stats about your tasks. The numbers reflect:
    • Tasks assigned to you
    • Tasks you have pinned
  • To view these tasks:
    • Tap any of the three stat tiles.
    • A detailed list of those tasks will open.
• My checklist: The checklist is located below the task overview. It's ideal for viewing or writing quick, personal to-dos.
  • To add a checklist item: Tap + Add item
  • To view all items in your checklist: Tap See all →
  • To convert a checklist item into a task:
    • Tap See all →
    • Tap the three dots icon next to the item
    • Select Convert to task
• Recents: Scroll down to find the Recent section, which display recently opened or edited projects, tasks, and notes.

Tasks tab

The Tasks view in the mobile app helps you stay focused on what needs to be done. This list includes tasks that are:

• Assigned to you, sorted by due date
• Pinned by you (even if they aren’t assigned to you)

You can create tasks anytime in MeisterTask. Each task belongs to one project and cannot be in more than one project.

This task list displays tasks from different projects in one place to make them easy to view.

Tasks in the list are always sorted by their due date. You cannot reorder the list of tasks manually. To change the order, you need to change the due dates of each task.

Notifications are key messages that help you stay updated on important updates and changes to Projects, Task, and Notes in MeisterTask.
