Use the Generate Status Update feature to quickly create a draft summary of your project's recent activity. MeisterTask uses AI to generate an update based on completed work, overdue items, comments, and the current state of your project board.

What Is a Project Status Update?

A project status update is a summary of your project's recent progress, blockers, and upcoming work. 

Generated updates may include:

• Tasks completed during the last 7 days
• Overdue tasks
• Recent task comments and discussions
• The current state of your project board
   

Generate a Project Status Update

1. Open your project in MeisterTask Web.
2. Click the AI diamond icon at the top of the project board.
3. Select Generate Status Update.
4. Review the generated draft.

Depending on your project's activity, the update may include the following sections:

• Progress
• Blockers
• Next Steps

Edit or Copy a Status Update

After generating a status update, you can make changes before sharing it.
 

1. Edit the generated text directly in the text area.
2. Click Regenerate to create a new version.
3. Click Copy to copy the update to your clipboard.
4. Paste the update into your preferred communication tool or document.
