Troubleshooting Synchronization Issues on iOS

This feature is available to all users

If your MeisterTask iOS app is missing some of your work or showing outdated data, it may not be synchronizing properly with the web app. To solve this issue, you can trigger a manual sync directly from the iOS app.

To trigger manual sync:


  1. Tap your user avatar in the top-left corner of the MeisterTask interface.
  2. Tap the larger user avatar in the My Account menu 4 times in succession to trigger manual sync.
  3. You will see the sync symbol on your user avatar. It will only take a few seconds to complete.

When does the iOS app sync with the web app?


  • When the MeisterTask app is fully restarted

  • When logging out and back in

  • When a manual sync is triggered (see above).



Pressing the home button on your iOS device will only minimize MeisterTask, and will therefore NOT trigger a synchronization.
