The MeisterTask MCP server is currently in public beta.
The MeisterTask MCP server allows you to connect MeisterTask to AI assistant Claude. Once connected, your AI assistant can securely interact with your Meister content to help you create content, manage projects, search information, and automate repetitive work.
This article explains how to connect the MeisterTask MCP server to Claude, what you can do with it, and how authentication and data access work.
Important
AI can make mistakes. Double-check any changes to your Meister content before relying on them.
What is the Model Context Protocol (MCP)?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a standard that allows AI assistants to securely connect to external tools and services.
The MeisterTask MCP server enables Claude to interact with your Meister workspace using natural language.
Once connected, Claude can access the projects, tasks, Notes, and mind maps that your Meister account already has permission to view or edit.
What can you do with the MeisterTask MCP server?
Once connected, Claude can help you work across your Meister projects, tasks, Notes, and mind maps using natural language.
Common use cases include:
- Draft a new project specification, meeting summary, or brainstorming document directly into a new Note.
- Search across multiple Notes to quickly find decisions, documentation, or project context.
- Create an entire project from a short brief, including sections, tasks, assignees, and due dates.
- Bulk-update task statuses across multiple projects.
- Generate a standup summary based on tasks assigned to you across projects.
- Create and organize documentation inside Notes using AI prompts.
- Review project progress and summarize open work.
