You can create a new task in MeisterTask by clicking the + button on your dashboard, in a project, or directly in a project section.
Create a New Task while in a Project
The easiest and fastest way to create a new task is by clicking one of the + buttons located in each of your project sections. Type in your new task's name and press enter.
You can also select the + button located at the top of your project. You'll then be prompted to select the section and project in which you'd like to create your new task.
Create a New Task from the Dashboard
Click the + button located at the top of your dashboard to create a new task from your dashboard. You'll then be prompted to select the section and project in which you'd like to create your new task.
Create a Task via email
You can create tasks in your project directly from your email inbox by sending an email to the unique email address associated with a section in your project.

Convert Text into Tasks
You can convert multiple lines of text (e.g. from Word, Excel, Numbers etc.) into a series of tasks by copying and pasting them into your new task's name.
To do this:
- Select the + button in a project section to create a new task.
- Copy your text onto your clipboard and paste it into the new task.
- Select Split into separate items to create a new task from each line of text.
