These features are available to all users
You can create, delete, and duplicate tasks from the MeisterTask iOS app. Business and Enterprise users can also schedule tasks on their Timeline.
Create a Task
To create a task directly from your MeisterTask app:
- Open a project by navigating to the Projects tab (tap the rocket icon at the bottom of your screen).
- Swipe left or right to choose a section for your new task.
- Tap the blue plus at the bottom of your screen.
- Fill in the task information and tap Add.
Delete or Restore a Task
To delete a task:
- Open the task you want to delete.
Tip
Tap the search button in the top-right corner of your screen to quickly find any task.
- Tap the ellipsis (...) in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Delete Task.
To restore a task:
- Search for your deleted task using the Search icon in the top bar.
- Tap the task once it appears.
- Tap Restore Task at the bottom of your screen.
Move a Task
You can drag and drop individual tasks tiles to move them across your project board. To move a task to another project, drag it into the "Move to Project..." square at the bottom of your screen.
Duplicate a Task
- Open the task you want to duplicate.
- Tap the ellipsis (...) in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Duplicate Task. Your duplicated task will appear directly below the original.
Schedule a Task on Your Timeline
This feature is available to Business users
Enable Timeline
Before you can begin scheduling on the iOS app, you'll need to enable Timeline using MeisterTask's web app. Learn how here.
To schedule a task and add it to your Timeline:
- Open a task, scroll down and tap Not Scheduled.
- Pick a start and end date for your project. The end date does not have to be the same as your due date!
- Tap Back. The dates will save automatically.
Remember!
You cannot view your Timeline on the mobile app. Scheduling a task from the mobile app means it will become visible on your web app Timeline view.
