Manage Project Members on Android

This feature is available to all users


On Pro plans, any member of a project can manage project members. 

On Business plans with roles and permissions enabled, only Content Manager can manage project members. Read more about roles and permissions here.  


Add Project Members

You can invite an unlimited amount of users to collaborate on a project. To add project members on Android:

 

  1. Open your project by navigating to the Projects tab (tap the rocket icon at the bottom of your screen).
  2. Tap the project name at the top of your display.
  3. Tap Members.
  4. Tap the blue plus (+) in the bottom-right corner of your display.
  5. Type the user name or email address of the colleague you'd like to add. 
  6. Select a Role for your new project member (Business users only).
  7. Tap the check mark in the top-right corner of your display.

Remove Project Members

To immediately revoke project members' access to your project:

 

  1. Open your project by navigating to the Projects tab (click the small rocket icon at the bottom of your screen).
  2. Tap the project name at the top of your screen.
  3. Tap Members.
  4. Press and hold on the name of the colleague you'd like to remove.
  5. Tap Remove.

Change Project Members' Roles and Permissions (Business Users Only)

Only project administrators can assign a new role to their colleagues.

To change a colleague's role:

 

  1. Open your project by navigating to the Projects tab (click the small rocket icon at the bottom of your screen).
  2. Tap the project name at the top of your display.
  3. Tap Members.
  4. Tap your colleague's username. 
  5. Choose an option from the list of available roles.

Downgrading Task Assignees

If you downgrade a task assignee to a the read-only role, you will have to unassign or reassign the tasks currently assigned to him/her. A window providing these options will automatically open.
