Get an overview of your projects

This feature is available to all users.


The Projects widget on the MeisterTask Home page gives you a centralized overview of the projects you care about most. Add projects to improve alignment and quickly monitor progress across your work.

For a broader view across all projects, use the Projects overview, which includes the project list, multi-project timeline, and Workload planner.


Get an overview of all your projects

The Projects overview helps you monitor all your projects in one place. It gives you visibility into progress, timelines, and overall workload across your team.

  • Project list: View and access all your projects quickly.
  • Multi-project timeline: See how projects overlap and identify scheduling conflicts.
  • Workload planner: Plan and distribute work across projects using a timeline-based capacity view.

Use the multi-project timeline to compare project schedules and understand how projects overlap over time.

Plan team capacity with the Workload planner

The Workload planner helps Account Admins plan and allocate work across multiple projects over time. Use it to identify overloaded team members and balance workload before issues arise.

Availability

The Workload planner is available on the Enterprise plan only and can be accessed by Account Admins.


Track project progress at a glance

The Projects widget highlights key metrics so you can quickly understand the status of your most important projects.

  • Completion % – see how far along the project is.
  • Open tasks – track how much work remains.
  • Overdue tasks – instantly spot potential risks.

Each number is interactive: click a metric to open a pre-filtered report for that project. For example, clicking overdue tasks opens a report showing all overdue tasks in that project.

Choose which projects to display

Customize the Projects widget to focus on the projects that matter most to you.

  1. Go to your Home page in MeisterTask.
  2. Locate the Projects widget.
  3. Click Add projects and select the projects you want to display.
  4. To remove a project, click the X next to its name.

Tip

You can add both active and archived projects to your widget. Archived projects will still display completion % and other data.
