Which Automations Can I Access From the Android App?
From the Android app, you can currently add 8 different automations to any section of your project. Once an automation has been added to a section, it will be immediately triggered whenever a task is moved into or created in that section.
The following automations can be added on the Android app:
- Assign Task
- Update Status
- Move Task
- Send Email
- Set or Remove Due Date
- Add or Remove Tags
- Start or Stop Time Tracking
- Set Recurring Tasks
Please Note: The following automations are NOT available on the Android app:
- Checklist Templates
- Send Slack Message

Remember
For the Slack and Office365 automations, you must integrate your MeisterTask account with Slack or Office365.
Add Automations
To add automations to your project:
- Navigate to the Projects Tab by tapping the rocket icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Open your project.
- Choose the section you'd like to add an automation to.
- Tap the small arrow on the right side of the section header.
- Tap Edit which appears next to the arrow. The Edit button will only show for Content Managers.
- Tap Add Automation.
- Tap the blue Plus on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Select the type of automation you'd like to add.
Edit Automations
You can edit existing automations by opening Automations and tapping the one you'd like to edit.
Delete Automations
To delete automations from your project:
- Open your project.
- Navigate to the section which includes the automation you'd like to delete.
- Tap the small arrow on the right side of the section header.
- Tap Edit.
- Tap the Automations menu.
- Tap the automation you'd like to delete.
- Tap Delete.
