We're constantly improving MeisterTask with you in mind.

New: MeisterTask has a new home page. Here you can quickly find all important tasks, checklists and notifications at a glance.
New: Team Admins can now invite users to their team with system-wide read-only access in MeisterTask. This has changed the central roles and permissions in MeisterTask.
Improved: It is now possible to request access to a note if you have the link to the note but are not authorized to view it. The content managers of the respective note can approve this request.

New: The MeisterTask iOS and Android apps now have an updated Home screen. Notifications now include updates not only from Projects and Tasks but also from Notes.
New: MeisterTask has a fresh new logo and visual identity.
Improved: The Filter feature in Projects has been improved. You can now close the Filter sidebar without losing the applied filters, and you can share the filtered view with others.
Improved: Team invite dialog has been enhanced. Team Admins can now select the level of access for new invitees across the system.
Improved: Forming a team with colleagues is now easier. Domain-based team joining is enabled by default for users with a Basic plan and a business email address, making it simpler for new users to find and join their team.
Discontinued: The MeisterTask Apple Watch app has been discontinued. We recommend using our dedicated iOS or Android apps for mobile task management.

New: MeisterTask now includes a feature called Live Pages. With Live Pages, you can publish a page from your notes and share the link with anyone for easy viewing.
New: A new List View has been introduced for Projects. You can now switch between the traditional Board View and the new List View, depending on your project management style and needs.
Discontinued: The MeisterTask Desktop App for Windows and Mac will be discontinued by the end of 2024. We recommend transitioning to the web version of MeisterTask to continue accessing all features.

New: The MeisterTask app for Android and iOS now includes a note-taking feature. Tap the Notes icon to view, create, and edit notes on the go.
New: Enroll in our 25-minute online course for team administrators at MeisterTask Academy! Learn to manage team members, understand admin roles, and optimize onboarding/offboarding processes.
Improved: Explore new templates on our website! Choose from a variety of templates to kickstart your projects, plan events, or organize team tasks.
Discontinued: We have discontinued the MeisterTask<>Microsoft Teams integration on July 31, 2024, due to recent changes in Microsoft Teams that affected its functionality.

New: MeisterTask has recently introduced a new feature called Meister AI Writing Assistant. Meister's generative AI aid is a personal assistant designed to improve your writing, summarize and extend content, or create new paragraphs in your Notes.
New: MeisterTask now offers a new, free online course for beginners: The Basics. This self-paced course covers how to set up new tasks and projects, how to work with a project on a daily basis, and how to collaborate with other team members.
New: MeisterTask's mobile app now lets you access, view, and create discussions and comments within Notes.
Improved: We've updated the Complete button on tasks to make it more user-friendly and to prevent accidental completions.
Improved: We've added text labels to all sidebar items to make Notes, Reports, and Agenda easier to find and understand.
Improved: The loading time for projects and tasks has been improved.
Improved: The response rate of the feature Ask Master AI has been optimized using a new ranking mechanism. This means that the last page views help to prioritize the best sources for Meister AI questions and thus improve the quality of the answers.

New: MeisterTask's Basic plan will implement a three-project limit at the team level. This means a team on a Basic plan can collectively access and edit only three projects. Projects shared by Pro- or Business-Teams with Basic users won't count towards this limit.
New: MeisterTask facilitates efficient Scrum Teams using a Kanban Board. For more information, view the English webinar "Mastering Agile: Implementing Scrum Methodology with MeisterTask".

New: MeisterTask has recently introduced a new feature called "Notes" on its mobile app. Creating new discussions and adding comments in the notes is now available on the mobile apps.
Improved: The team name is now visible on the overview (dashboard). To view it, click on your profile avatar; the team name will appear beneath your email address in the account popover.
New: MeisterTask facilitates efficient Scrum Teams using a Kanban Board. For more information, view the German webinar "Agiles Teamwork mit Scrum: Mit MeisterTask unkompliziert einführen."

New: Team admins can now disable file uploads for all projects. This means no more uploading, dragging, or pasting files into tasks, boosting security for those with strict data regulations.
New: If you've invited anyone to join the team, you can now easily monitor any of your invitations that haven't been accepted yet. You can find all these pending invitations in your overview (dashboard).
Improved: Ask Meister AI is now available for everyone. Meister AI creates answers, summaries and solutions based on your notes and the MeisterNote Help Center.
Fixed: The desktop app and the iOS app (version 13.6.6) sometimes did not start.

Changed: The MeisterTask Community has now welcomed the former MeisterNote Community. All previous discussions, news & updates and feature request regarding Notes have been transferred from the former MeisterNote community to the MeisterTask community, and can now be found in the MeisterTask community.
Change: From April 1, 2024, Pro users will no longer be able to edit, save and export Custom Reports; however, you will still be able to view the Custom Reports that you have already saved. If your team needs Custom Reports, then please consider upgrading to our Business Plan. Access to Quick Reports will not change - You will be able to access Quick Reports as before.
Improved: Business users can export custom reports with up to 200 projects per saved custom report, compared to 50 projects previously.
